It’s been a long time since I sat down to journal—just for me.
No audience, no performance. Just space to breathe, listen, and let my fingers speak what my body already knows.
This morning, I paused.
I actually paused.
No scrolling. No emails. No organizing, fixing, planning, avoiding, or procrastinating.
Just silence.
Well… silence with a fan whirring and birds chirping.
In that space, I discovered what I always discover when I slow down enough to be:
I want to live my life from the inside out, not the outside in.
I want to stop spinning like a top.
I want to drink more water. Stretch more. Eat less sugar.
I want to meditate—daily, even briefly—because even 10 minutes gave me clarity I didn’t know I needed.
And yes, I’m 78 and still becoming.
Still “shoulding” and comparing. Still yearning and judging.
Still wondering what’s next, while also trying to simply be here now.
You too?
Maybe you’ve been moving too fast, doing too much, putting yourself last.
Maybe you feel a tug to come home to yourself.
So I invite you—right now—to take a breath.
Then maybe take another 10 minutes.
Close your eyes.
Let your heart speak.
Let your soul rest.
And when you’re ready, come join me over on Substack.
I’ll be there with musings, meditations, and invitations to live more gently and soulfully—with humor, grace, and honest messiness.
Because I believe we’re all still becoming.
With a hug for your heart,
Linda

Can you make time for yourself to just BE and maybe journal a love note to yourself?
What would you say? What are you becoming?
