An invitation to live from your Highest Self—and bring your Parts along for the ride.
Do you ever start something new and have some feelings come up about reservations and worries?
As I hit “publish” on my first Substack posts, I noticed all the familiar voices rise up:
“It’s not good enough yet.”
“What if no one reads it?”
“Better wait a little longer…”
These are just Parts of me— my Protectors of Worry, Perfectionism, and People Pleasing Parts - trying to help, trying to keep me safe.
And instead of silencing them, I gather them gently in my lap and say: “It’s okay. I’ve got this. We’re going to be fine.”
That’s the practice of Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy—welcoming all Parts with compassion, while letting our wise, loving Self take the lead.
And that’s what these three new posts are all about.
When my granddaughter read them, she said, "Oh, Baba, these are cute - and they have a point!"
These 3 short posts are reminders to help you live from your higher SELF, not your burdened ego.
They’re short, sweet, and soul-soothing.
Each one is a gentle nudge to step into trust, release perfectionism, and remember who you really are beneath the busy, protective Parts.
